RosevilleBlog –

Welcome to my RosevilleBlog. Today is Friday, March 27, 2008. This is my first entry on RosevilleBlog. And please know that this is Roseville, California not Roseville, Minnesota or Roseville, Michigan. I have not had the pleasure of visiting Roseville, Minnesota but I have been to Roseville, Michigan many times as I have spent much time in Michigan. Actually, I would like to be back in Michigan but family, friends and career require me to be in California. Oh, well. It’ll be warmer here in Roseville, California this weekend than it will be in Roseville, Michigan.

I am going to call my blog-entries, “News and Views” (subject to change, of course). There seems to be an abundance of less-than-good-news currently in the media and on the net, however, so I am going to focus more on the “views” than on the “news”. At least for this week, anyway. Not that I want to completely avoid discussing the current news, of course. As a long-time local real estate consultant, I am affected by local, national and world events on a daily basis. The tightening of credit limits for buyers, the glut of bank-owned properties and the cost of gasoline all affect me and my clients. The high cost of fuel is a big concern. Why isn’t there more public outrage over this? The oil companies are making billions of dollars!

Anyway, let’s start on a fun note. My two cats, Henry and Daphne, have taken relaxation to a new level, as you can easily see in the accompanying photo. If your best cat or dog buddy(ies) also have mastered the fine art of relaxation, please submit a photo and I’ll feature them on this blog.

More to follow . . .
